This book of 280 pages is a discovery journey through the world of chronography made possible by a reconstruction of the main phases of the chronograph’s development in its unique historical and technological context from 1900 up to the present day. Over 130 exemplars, some of them extremely rare, are illustrated by splendid colour photographs, accompanied by a very detailed and accurated technical description.

In the wake of the success achieved by the first two books, DESIGN IN GOLD 3, featuring an extraordinarily wide range of new jewelry designs. This edition is even richer than the previous one both from a quantitative point of view and in terms of product categories covered. DESIGN IN GOLD 3 has 344 pages, 312 of which are illustrated with colour drawings reproducing a total of 1100 designs. Each product category is divided in turn according to different product typologies.

Presents works by 47 designers; it consists of 376 pages and 1200 full size colour designs. Each category of merchandise is subdivided in terms of product type; furthermore, the already rich case history of the jewellery sector is enriched by a cultural reference founded on the influence of music and colour, with a particular accent on the theme of Sky blue in modern painting. Gemmologia Tecnica

This publication is a comprehensive survey of gemmological analysis aimed at gems identification. The book has a total of 296 pages, illustrated with 240 colour photographs and tables. It is aimed at all professionals operating in the technical, scientific and business field, at the students of gemmological, jewellery and design schools. The following are the main topics: origin of gems, synthesis, treatment, internal characteristics of gems, cutting forms, additional techniques and specialized analysis techniques, pearl analysis, gem classification.


TECNOLOGIA ORAFA

Jewellery Technology intends to study processes of production, methods, tools and instruments used in jeweller’s workings. It is made up of 400 illustrated pages, more than 500 drawings and many tables. The first part of the book deals with the knowledge of metals, alloys, and chemical products commonly used by goldsmiths. In the second part the fundamental jeweller’s processes are described, such as melting, rolling, drawing, stamping, together with complementary techniques such as investment casting, surface finishing and others. The third part of the book treats of some important elements from the functional point of view, like settings, links, locks and fastenings. Finally, the last part analyzes the protection of environmental conditions and the operator’s safety and health with relation to the various processes; are also shown general lines for a correct management of the firm analyzing the overall costs of production. Jewellery Technology, is intended to the students of schools of jewellery, to whom it offers the description of a wide range of traditional and modern working techniques, as well as to all jewellers, who can use it to go deep into their own theoreticals knowledge of the subject.
