  Col nome di SEIKO HOUSE GINZA, la Seiko Holdings Corporation di Tokyo ha riconvertito in hub l'iconica struttura di Ginza, nota come Wako Main Building. L’edificio storico, caratterizzato dalla torre dell'orologio che si affaccia sull'incrocio principale di Ginza, è stato la sede di Seiko fin dall’esordio dell'azienda; noto come il “negozio Wako” oggi occupa solo la metà inferiore dell'intero edificio, mentre i piani superiori e l'area del tetto diventano uno spazio dedicato ad alcune attività del marchio Seiko, che fa capo al gruppo Seiko Holdings. Per celebrare la nuova apertura, l'azienda presenta una serie di eventi intitolati “Seiko Harmony”, fra i quali spicca l'illuminazione notturna della famosa torre dell'orologio, per celebrarne il 90° anniversario e anche il suono cerimoniale della campana.
Seiko Holdings Corporation of Tokyo has reconverted the iconic structure of Ginza, known as Wako Main Building, into a hub and called it SEIKO HOUSE GINZA. The historic building characterised by the clock tower which faces onto the main crossroads of Ginza, has been the headquarters of Seiko since the company was founded; known as the “Wako shop”, today it occupies only the lower half of the building, while the upper floors and the roof area have become a space dedicated to several activities of the Seiko brand, which belongs to the Seiko Holdings group. To celebrate the new opening, the company presents a series of events entitled “Seiko Harmony”, including the night-time illumination of the famous clock tower to celebrate its 90th anniversary and the ceremonial sound of the bell.

Oltre 500 espositori provenienti da 40 Paesi diversi e più di 8.000 gioielli esposti, sono i notevoli dati numerici della seconda edizione della kermesse ”Milano Jewelry Week”, al suo rientro in presenza dal 20 al 23 ottobre 2022. La storia e la tecnica dell’arte orafa avranno come interpreti e protagonisti una serie di mostre collettive e personali, esposizioni di gallerie e scuole internazionali, workshop, performance, temporary shop e serate di premiazioni, distribuite in circa 200 eventi che animeranno le vie del centro di Milano e prestigiose location di alta gioielleria, laboratori di arte orafa, accademie, scuole, gallerie d’arte, boutique di moda e showroom di design, secondo percorsi tematici capaci di calamitare l’attenzione sul mondo del gioiello da parte del pubblico sia B2B che B2C.
More than 500 exhibitors from 40 different countries and more than 8000 jewels on show, is the significant numerical data of the second edition of the kermesse “Milano Jewelry Week”, back to its in-presence format from 20 to 23 October 2022. The history and technique of goldsmith art will see a series of collective and solo exhibitions, exhibitions of galleries and international schools, workshops, performances, temporary shops and evenings of awards as interpreters and protagonists, distributed in over 200 events. The streets of the centre of Milan and prestigious locations of high jewellery, ateliers of goldsmith art, academies, schools, art galleries, fashion boutiques and design showrooms will be brought to life, according to themed routes able to attract the attention of the public, both B2B and B2C, to the world of jewellery.
