I gioielli, suddivisi in tre linee, sono accomunati dall’uso
prevalente dell’ottone, materiale cangiante in varie forme e densità, il cui colore giallo opaco allo stato grezzo muta allo stato fluido durante il processo di microfusione. Nella definitiva realizzazione il gioiello viene impreziosito tramite l’immersione in bagni di oro 22 carati, palladio puro e rutenio. Nella prima linea “Fascia con pietra”, l'ottone è in barre tubolari cave all'interno, con diametri differenti; di fondamentale importanza è la selezione delle pietre, di cui si prediligono i tagli cabochon e le sue declinazioni, oltre al taglio a sella d’asino, usato per le pietre di turchese
e occhio di tigre. La linea “Fascia Meridiana” richiama un misuratore del tempo, una sorta di meridiana portatile. Si tratta di anelli con fascia ampia
e scanalata, su cui è incisa la scritta Noblesse. E, infine, nella linea “Fascia con frange”, l’ottone è impiegato con tecniche miste; la fascia è composta da due anelli ai quali è saldata in argento una canalina con frange.
The goldsmith activity of Antonella Fassina comes from a passion nurtured since childhood. She is founder of the brand
NOBLESSE and its numerous creations, which fulfil the function of satisfying the needs of every woman in choice of shape, colour and
preciousness. The jewels, divided into three lines, share the prevalent use of brass, iridescent material in various shapes and
density, whose yellow colour opaque at the raw state changes to the fluid
state during precision casting. In the definitive realisation the jewel is embellished by immersion in baths of 22 carat gold, pure palladium and ruthenium. In the first line, “Fascia con pietra (Band with stone)”, the brass is in tubular bars hollow on the inside, with different diameters; of essential importance is the selection of stones, of which cabochon cuts and its varieties
are preferred, in addition to the donkey saddle cut, used for turquoise and
tiger’s eye. The “Fascia Meridiana (Meridian Band)” line recalls a time measurer, a sort of portable meridian. They are rings with a wide and grooved band, on which the text Noblesse is engraved. And, finally, in
the “Fascia con frange (Band with fringe)” line brass is used with mixed techniques; the band is composed by two rings to which a channel with
fringe is welded in silver.
