is also found in a series of precious objects, which recall the uses and customs of Japan in their details, such as the “inro”, small boxes hung from the pockets of the male kimonos, transformed into precious beauty cases, true expressions of goldsmith art, with the addition of chains and rings in jade beads, lacquer sequins and gold or platinum links. Other significant pieces are a table clock from 1957, depicting two women in kimonos sculpted in rock crystal, carrying a watch dial; a bracelet from 1958 decorated with twisted gold threads which intersect with each other on a tessellation of diamonds, as can be noted on the grips of the Japanese swords.
