Il rapporto più noto del Gemological Institute of America (GIA), il Diamond Dossier, si appresta a diventare esclusivamente digitale nel corso dei prossimi due anni, ponendo fine al rilascio di documenti cartacei durato oltre 50 anni. D’ora in poi, i diamanti classificati verranno restituiti con un codice QR, che permette di accedere ai report digitali scansionando il codice QR o inserendo il numero di iscrizione al servizio GIA di report online. I rapporti sulla valutazione digitale verranno quindi visualizzati nella nuova app del GIA, che includerà una guida interattiva alle 4C, nonché articoli e video forniti dal GIA. Inoltre, il passaggio al digitale offre una grande occasione di sostenibilità, in quanto farà risparmiare 20 tonnellate di carta e 18,5 tonnellate di plastica ogni anno e ridurrà le emissioni di carbonio legate ai trasporti.
The best-known report of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the Diamond Dossier, is preparing itself to become exclusively digital over the next two years, putting an end to the issue of paper documents which has lasted for over 50 years. From now on, classified diamonds will be returned with a QR code which allows to access the digital reports by scanning the QR code or entering the registration number into GIA’s online report. The reports on the digital evaluation will then be displayed in the new GIA app, which will include an interactive guide to the 4Cs, as well as articles and videos provided by the GIA. Furthermore, the move to digital offers a great occasion of sustainability, as it saves 20 tons of paper and 18.5 tons of plastic each year and reduces the carbon emissions connected with transport.

The Oura App, to which the ring is connected, triggers a dialogue between mind and body through daily information connected to wellness. The smart ring records individual data through constant cardiac monitoring and seven sensors, using three parameters: sleep, motor activity and readiness.
